About the sample

36 people responded through word of mouth and social channels. Of the 33 who reported their age, 4 were 18–24 and 29 were 25–34; 3 did not provide an age.

The time finding uses 19 answers from people who had sewn before. All were aged 18–34, with 17 aged 25–34. Multiple choices were allowed. This exploratory sample is concentrated in ages 25–34 and describes reported difficulties, rather than measured use of Restitch.

Something to make

Two projects to start with: a clean double-fold hem for your jeans, or a hand-sewn faux-leather flower made from six petals and a button.

One step at a time

Each project begins with a materials checklist, followed by six visual lessons. Jeans lessons include short animations you can pause, scrub, and replay; the flower uses step-by-step photographs.
